Microsoft 365 E5 Security Suite Now Available for Business Premium Customers

Starting 7 March 2025, Microsoft has made the highly anticipated Microsoft 365 E5 Security suite available as an add-on for Business Premium customers. This suite is designed to offer advanced security features that address the ever-growing cybersecurity challenges businesses face today.

The E5 Security suite includes the following key components:

  • Microsoft Entra ID Plan 2: Provides enhanced identity and access controls.
  • Microsoft Defender for Identity: Offers Extended Detection and Response (XDR) to give visibility across the entire attack lifecycle.
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Plan 2: Delivers advanced protection and response capabilities for devices.
  • Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 2: Strengthens email and collaboration security.
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps: An AI-powered SaaS security solution that monitors and controls cloud-based applications.

These tools will help SMBs bolster their security posture and better protect their assets in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

E5 Security and E5 Compliance Suites Now Available for O365 E3 + EMS E3 Customers

In response to rising security and compliance demands, particularly with the integration of Copilot, Microsoft is extending an opportunity for partners to upsell the Microsoft E5 Security and E5 Compliance suites to O365 E3 and EMS E3 customers. This move reflects the growing need for robust solutions to address both security and compliance in the modern workplace.
