What’s new at Synnex?

13 April, 2021

In 2016, Synnex launched an enterprise-grade cloud marketplace with a 5-year roadmap to help partners generate new revenue streams in the cloud. We invested in integration costs and have continually enhanced our Cloud API with new functionalities.

In the next few years, we will continue to maintain our pace of innovation with more MSP tools, partner enablement, and revenue recurring services. We are expanding on a regular basis to add more vendor solutions into our channel and cloud offerings so our partners can open up a multitude of conversations with their end customers.

#1. Technology-as-a-Service (TaaS) 2

The increase in customer expectations and experiences sees technology continue to disrupt business and service models. A recent study reports that 60% of Australian businesses have accelerated their digital transformation goals by at least five years.

As-a-Service is not new and has been around a long time.

For channel partners, the real advantage of moving to TaaS is the ability to take solutions and embed through their ecosystems, add features and automatically update users to the latest version, capture recurring revenue, increase flexibility and scalability.

For their customers, TaaS allows them to access technology on-demand at a low cost of entry and scale up or down if their needs change.

With Synnex TaaS, partners can leverage the full extent of the cloud to build flexible recurring revenue for their business and provide simplicity to their customers with a single monthly payment covering their infrastructure, software, support, and services. Synnex TaaS 2 gives partners different options of financial providers they wish to partner with.

Partner benefits of Synnex TaaS:

✔️ No restrictions on the percentage balance
✔️ Receive 1%* rebate on the value of the approved finance
✔️ Finance for your own business
✔️ Build recurring revenue protection from your support and services
✔️ No balloon payments. One dollar buyback fee at the end of the finance period
✔️ Unlock the remaining value of redundant equipment with equipment buyback services

#5. New partnerships

Google Workspace and Google Workspace for Education

The Google Chromebook market share has reached an all-time high, labeled the best performing PC product in Q3, 2020. 11.2M Google Chromebooks were shipped worldwide in 2020 with shipment quadrupling in the last 12 months,  reaching a 112% YOY volume growth according to Canalys. Every month, over 2.6 billion people use Google apps.

On 8 December 2020, Synnex became the first solutions aggregator to partner with Google Workspace in the Australian channel. Three months later, we added Google Workspace for Education to our Google solutions ecosystem.

How does it work for partners?

The power of Google Workspace is its profitability in selling in the form of an ecosystem solution. You can combine Google Chrome devices, Chrome management licenses, and SaaS cloud offerings all-in-one to create the most desired outcome for each of your customers AND build a recurring revenue stream.

Why partner with Synnex?

Synnex has built out a comprehensive onboarding and enablement plan with Google features spanning operations, technical and integration as well as Synnex scaled offerings:

  • Technology-as-a-service program (TaaS): A powerful finance program that enables partners to wrap up any solution deal into a recurring model.
  • Telemarketing services: Synnex specialists who are certified experts in Google and integrated complementary solutions and are available to work with partners to help contact end customers and grow a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Bundled ISV cloud solutions: Provide your customers with a full suite of integrated complementary cloud solutions

What this means is, for partners who focus on productivity solutions in different eco-systems, they can now cross-sell and upsell, allowing them to add greater value to their business.

Partners can provision and manage all Parallels products:

In the last 12 months, we’ve seen many of our partners reprioritising their strategic IT roadmaps in pursuit of new business models and new revenue streams, driven by changes in customer expectations. Being receptive to the changing nature of technology and its impact on our partners is important to us. That’s why we have already deployed 24 months’ worth of developmental projects across various business areas to support our partners to expand their scope of opportunities.
